Hi Dan and Rex, I'm hoping this will be an improvement to the game rather than a rule book for the sake of it
I will say I have faith in Warlord Games in getting it right and improving the game. If they release army books as PDF's I'll be happy as it's easier down here to get them that way and cheaper
All the best

Hi Bob, Yes I am hoping so too, and I have to say i feel given the details they have released already about replacing army books, which will allow the re alignment of points, greater consistency I think its going to be a significant improvement.
I know there are people moaning about having to buy army books again, but their wallets have done pretty damn well since 2012 or whenever it was they came out! im not wealthy but its worth it to me to have to buy new books that have made the game better. the PDFs are indeed useful too!

As they talked about in Brads Ghost army podcast, what I'm excited about (apart from streamlining some of the most insane complicated rules like assaulting vehicles) is re-pointing everything, I'm hoping things that weren't viable before but are really cool from a hobby perspective like German half-tracks become worthwhile.

Podcast EP24: A chat with Jon Russell.

In this bumper episode, we are joined by Jon Russell of Warlord Games fame. In addition to his dedicated work for Warlord, Jon is a multifaceted wargamer and also veteran of many years service.

In this episode we spend time learning about Jon's wargaming pedigree, before learning more about his role at Warlord, the writing of 'Bolt Action: Korea', and Jon shares with us what he can about what Bolt Action V3 might look like, and the 'Raiders Attack!' Supplement that still has much life left in it.

All this plus Warlord event support, balance in tournaments and other definitely non-controversial(!), highly entertaining and informative topics. Sit back and enjoy a chat with Jon, and us, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
